Our Product Options | Garage Door Safety Arms
Safe-T-Support’s Garage Door Safety Arms are designed to help prevent injuries by stopping falling garage doors in their tracks. Unfortunately, these injuries are far too common both at home and at the workplace. Safe-T-Support offers four options for Garage Door Safety Arms, which you can view below.
All of our Garage Door Safety Arm systems come with two safety arms, one for each side of the garage door. Each arm is mounted to the garage door track using supplied clamps, which are designed for a standard 2” garage door track. Custom mounting options are available upon request.
Manual Safety Arms with LED Lights

The Manual Safety Arms with LED Lights are similar to our Manual Safety Arms, but with the added feature of LED lights as an additional layer of protection. The garage door is opened high enough so the arms can clear, the arms are manually unlocked and swung into place under the garage door, and then they are locked into place to prevent moving. Once both arms are in place and make both limit switches, a green LED light will come on to let the operator know the safety arms are properly in place. Semi-Automatic Safety Arms with LED Lights

The Semi-Automatic Safety Arms also include the green LED light to let the operator know the safety arms are properly in place, and the red LED light for when they are in the stow position. This system uses an electric cylinder connected to the arms, as well as an electrical box with a selector switch, to move them in and out of position. Automatic Safety Arms with LED Lights

The Automatic Safety Arms represent our best option, offering optimal safety and ease-of-use together in one package. This option also includes the LED light system for additional safety, and uses your current garage door opening system for convenience. Once the existing garage door opener is pressed, the garage door will open until it trips the supplied limit switch. Then the safety arms will automatically extend into position, with the green LED light turning on to notify the operator that they are in position. The garage door is opened high enough so the arms can clear. This system also uses an electric cylinder connected to the arms, as well as an electrical box with a selector switch, to move them in and out of position. You can use the existing garage door opener to close the garage door, which will also make the safety arms retract.
