The Automatic Safety Arms represent our best option, offering optimal safety and ease-of-use together in one package. This option also includes the LED light system for additional safety, and uses your current garage door opening system for convenience. Once the existing garage door opener is pressed, the garage door will open until it trips the supplied limit switch. Then the safety arms will automatically extend into position, with the green LED light turning on to notify the operator that they are in position. The garage door is opened high enough so the arms can clear. This system also uses an electric cylinder connected to the arms, as well as an electrical box with a selector switch, to move them in and out of position. You can use the existing garage door opener to close the garage door, which will also make the safety arms retract.
